WHAT TO EXPECT
Sunday Morning is one of the main events in the weekly flow of LifeHouse so it’s a great time to come and see what’s going on, experience a service, and meet some of the folks who call this place home.
Doors open up at 9:15am. You’ll be welcomed in by our friendly hosting team and shown the way up the steps to our freshly renovated foyer. For those needing extra mobility assistance, we also have a manned elevator to get you where you need to go.
Upon entering the Foyer you’ll see our new Common Ground Café where people love to meet before service for a hot beverage, as well as a couple of simple breakfast options for purchase, if you didn’t have time before setting out.
In our foyer, you’ll also find our kiosk where one of our team is stationed to answer any of your questions and get you acquainted with the place and the people. Oh, and as our guest, don’t forget to ask for a free coffee card on the house!
The main service starts at 10am sharp! Find your seat and enjoy a warm welcome from the front as our host gets things started with a quick run down of the next hour and twenty minutes or so.
We transition straight into musical worship. You can expect some upbeat praise, and some more intimate worship times too. We encourage people to worship in a way that feels comfortable. There’s no pressure here. God wants us to be ourselves! During the worship time, you may hear someone share a word that they feel God has put on their heart, or they may speak out, in what the bible calls a spiritual tongue. We will do our best to explain from the front what is going on as things unroll. All in all its a great time encountering God’s presence.
Next up we usually have a few announcements and often a cool testimony about what God is doing in someone’s life. This can really set the stage for the message. The kids are invited at the end of the announcements to join in with either PlayHouse or Kid’s Church downstairs. Click on the links to find out more!
At the end of the message, we often have a response time. This doesn’t go too long, but it’s a great opportunity for people to respond to the message and connect with God.
At 11:20am, we close the meeting and invite people to continue in the response time or head into the foyer where the café is open until noon for people to mingle and connect.
That’s it in a nutshell for Sunday mornings. We will do our best to make you feel at home here. So, consider this an official invitation to come and join us. Remember not to leave without saying hi and making yourself known to a friendly face at our foyer kiosk.
