Last week’s lesson: Jesus is Lord.

This week’s lesson: Love people.

Let’s Worship Together.

Our Bible Story: The Good Samaritan

Jesus loves everyone. He even loves the people who were mean to Him. He wants us to love everyone too. We can love people by being nice and kind to them. Who showed love to the man who was hurt? Was it the priest, the priest’s assistant, or the Samaritan? What did the Samaritan do for the injured man?

Learn this verse: “Love your neighbour as yourself.” Mark 12:31

Jesus said our neighbour is all of the people around us, even the people who aren’t nice to us sometimes. Loving them means to be nice and kind to them. You can pray and ask Jesus to help you love people. You can also talk to an adult you trust, such as a parent, if there is someone you are having trouble being nice and kind to.

Memorize God’s Word.

Apply God’s Word.

Jesus wants us to love people. Who lives in your house that you can be nice and kind to? Can you think of something nice that someone did for you? Like maybe your parents let you have a yummy treat? How did you feel? Did you know that other people feel good when you do nice things for them too? Think of one nice thing to do today – maybe share a toy with your brother or sister, or make a picture for your parents. They will feel good! And there’s a bonus – when you make someone else feel good, it makes you feel good too!

Dear Jesus, thank You that you love everyone so much. Please help us to love people too. Please help us to love our parents and our brothers and sisters. Please guide us and show us ways we can be nice, kind and helpful to the people around us. Thank you, Jesus! In Jesus’ name, amen.

Let’s Pray.
